Whether you’re stopping by for steaks for the weekend, bringing in a custom-processing animal, or trusting us with your family’s game harvest, our goal has always been to provide the quality, care, and craftsmanship you expect from your hometown butcher.
Beginning Monday, August 10, our retail butcher shop will be closed on Mondays.
While our store hours are changing slightly, our commitment to serving our customers is stronger than ever.
Why We’re Making This Change
Mondays give our production team valuable uninterrupted time to focus on the work happening behind the scenes.
That means staying ahead of custom cut-and-wrap orders, preparing for county fair livestock, getting ready for the busy hunting season, stocking the retail cases, and making sure every order receives the attention to detail it’s known for.
Simply put, dedicating Mondays to production helps us serve you better the rest of the week.
Investing in the People Behind the Counter
Just as important, this new schedule allows every member of our team to enjoy two consecutive days off each week.
Anyone who has worked in food production knows weekends are part of the job. Until now, most of our crew’s days off were split throughout the week.
Two days together gives our team the opportunity to rest, spend time with family, recharge, and come back ready to do their best work.
We believe taking great care of our employees is one of the best ways to take great care of our customers.
For Ranchers
If you’re bringing us a custom animal, nothing changes.
We’ll continue accepting scheduled livestock drop-offs on Mondays between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Just give us a call ahead of time so we can get you on the schedule, as we’ve always done.
For Hunters
Game season will continue to work much the same way.
We’ll announce Game Drop Days on Facebook as each season approaches.
In fact, we’re excited because this schedule should allow us to process more game than ever before, helping us serve more hunters throughout the season.
